Herb Alpert and more spy jazz

Happy Canada Day!! We were going to do something special to celebrate it, but it seems my network setup here sort of had different ideas...

We've had a request for more spy jazz and I couldn't agree more! So we've added another version of Peter Gunn along with Men on the Move, and the F.B.I Theme. Hopefully more spy jazz will surface, but, being spies and all, that type of music is good at hiding!

It may sound redundant, but, Minnesota is not the place to be in the winter! The "studio" has icicles from a failing heating system, it's been a challenging past couple days, as I'm sure the rest of the winter will be. (I live in an old farm house with a wood stove..)

The beetles invasion! argh! billions of beetles are invading North America, according to this BBC news update. It's a problem because they seem to like pine trees.

Maureen McElheron stops by to say Hi, a catchy tune from the New London Philharmonic Orchestra called Un Homme Et Une Femme (I believe it means a man and a woman) in any event, I'm sure you'll recognize it. Astrud Gilberto and Chet Baker sing "Far Away" and some more from Sergio Rafael.
